Ontario Structured Psychotherapy |
Ontario Structured Psychotherapy (OSP) is a publicly funded mental health program available to adults 18+ across Ontario. In southwestern Ontario, OSP is delivered by St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton and St. Joseph’s Health Care London in partnership with local agencies, such as Family Services Windsor Essex and Windsor Family Health Team, under the name “OSP West”. |
They offer free cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) to treat: |
• Depression and low mood • Generalized anxiety and worry • Health anxiety • Obsessive-compulsive concerns | • Posttraumatic stress • Social anxiety • Panic attacks and agoraphobia • Stress and coping |
They strive to offer low-barrier access by: |

OSP West is not a crisis service and is not suitable for individuals who are: • Actively suicidal or have attempted suicide in the past six months, currently self-harming or living in crisis. • Experiencing symptoms of mania, hypomania or psychosis within the past year (not due to medication or substance use). • Currently experiencing symptoms of a severe eating disorder, personality disorder or cognitive impairment. • Currently experiencing problematic drug or alcohol use. |
