Born and raised in Montreal, Dr. Pradeepa Yoganathan has practiced ophthalmology in Canada and the United States for 16 years. She has worked cross-border for over 13 years and, for the last 7 years, has practiced in both Windsor, Ontario and Detroit, Michigan.
Dr. Yoganathan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology and Vision Sciences at the University of Toronto; Associate Professor at the Kresge Eye Institute, Department of Ophthalmology, Visual and Anatomical Sciences at Wayne State University; Adjunct Professor at the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry at Western University; and Adjunct Professor in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Windsor.

“The Foundation Fighting Blindness (Canada) is a charity that was founded in 1974 by a small group of family’s intent on finding a cure for the diseases affecting the vision of their children. It works to find causes, treatments, and ultimately, cures for retinitis pigmentosa, macular degeneration and related retinal diseases. Its members do this by promoting research and developing public awareness. In addition to sponsoring support groups, the foundation offers educational materials and networking to patients, families and the healthcare community at large.”
