Dr. Afzal completed ophthalmology residency training and specialist qualifications in ophthalmology, with training and examinations spanning Pakistan, the United Kingdom, and Canada.

Canadian Ophthalmology Certification
Successfully completed the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada ophthalmology certification examinations.
